Google Search allows you to generate and share public links to your AI-powered responses, including AI Overviews and conversational AI Mode interactions. This official feature makes it simple to send comprehensive, AI-synthesized research directly to friends, colleagues, or social platforms.

The following guide details how to create, manage, and distribute your AI-powered search results. Prerequisites for Sharing AI Responses

To use the sharing feature for AI Overviews and AI Mode, you must ensure your Google Account settings are configured correctly:

Account Type: You must use a personal Google Account. The feature is currently unavailable for Google Workspace or Workspace for Education accounts.

History Settings: You must enable your Web & App Activity (Search History).

Personalization: Personalized recommendations must be turned on. Without these active history settings, public link creation is disabled. Step-by-Step: How to Share AI Responses

You can generate public links on both mobile devices and desktop computers. On Android & Mobile Devices

Open the Google App and generate an AI Overview or tap AI Mode on the home screen to start a conversational search. Scroll to the bottom of the generated AI response. Tap the Share button.

Select your preferred messaging app, social platform, or email draft, or tap Copy link to save the URL to your clipboard. On Desktop Computers

Navigate to Google Search or enter AI Mode in your browser to pull up your response.

Look for the Share option located at the bottom of the AI Overview or AI Mode block. Click Share to open the distribution menu.

Choose the platform where you want to send the link, or copy the direct public link to your clipboard. How to Manage Your Shared Public Links

Google keeps a repository of your shared AI links so you can manage them later. This is useful if you want to reshare an older insight or revoke public access. Open AI Mode within the Google platform.

Access your AI Mode history by tapping the history icon at the top of the browser screen. Select More (typically represented by three dots). Click or tap Manage public links.

From this dashboard, you can choose to reshare specific links, delete individual public links, or completely wipe all shared links from public view.
